Divorce

While divorces are prevalent in today's society, The Law Office of Crystal R. Villasenor, PLLC understands that it is likely not customary for your and your family. Our office charges a flat fee for an Uncontested Divorce, whereby the parties have agreed to all issues in the case and both are ready, willing and able to sign the divorce papers. Should your divorce be more complex and require Court intervention to sort out any issues, the matter will be considered Contested. That is why we take the time to listen to all of your concerns and develop a case strategy to determine the most practical way to meet your expectations, while being mindful of your budget.

A person can be awarded either a criminal or family court order of protection if they are a victim of violence including but not limited to physical, emotional, and/or financial harm.

Tenants have the right to commence a Housing Court proceeding against their landlord to obtain required repairs in their apartment and in the public areas of their building. 


Child Custody   

Family is the most important thing in the world. In New York Housing Court, landlords can seek to evict their tenants by commencing a Holdover proceeding. There are several statutory guidelines that a landlord must follow when commencing the Holdover proceeding. If these rules are not strictly followed, the case is subject to dismissal.
